The latest episode of Game Of Thrones, The Last Of The Starks was undoubtedly one of the most amazing episodes in the sense of its writing and the plot twists. The show certainly doesn't need any more fame per se but this particular episode did get infamously famous.

As known by the netizens already, a coffee cup which looked like one from Starbucks was spotted in one of the scenes in the early minutes of the episode and this was a chance for the fans and social media fanatics to go bonkers. Apart from incessant trolling, some people even expressed anger in terms of how such detail was missed at the editing table especially as this season took over 2 years to come back.

Many also had complaints about the cinematography of the third episode and that was connected to this fiasco too. And finally, art director Hauke Richter said it’s not uncommon for items to end up misplaced on set, go unnoticed and appear in the final cuts of movies and TV shows, saying, “Things can get forgotten on set,” he wrote. “[The coffee cup error has been] so blown out of proportion [because] it has not happened with ‘Thrones’ so far.”

HBO also made fun of itself saying, “The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea,” the company stated in a press release on Monday.

For about two seconds in Sunday’s “The Last of the Starks,” a takeout coffee cup appeared on a table in front of Daenerys Targaryen around the 17:40 minute mark. Based on the size and shape, many fans assumed it was a Starbucks cup, and the hashtag #Starkbucks trended on Twitter after the episode.
