“The only woman I want to take on a date is my mother” shares Rabb Se Hai Dua’s lead actor Karanvir Sharma

Having narrated several stories that have resonated beautifully with audiences across India and given us successful shows like ‘Manmohini’, ‘Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan’, and ‘Teri Meri Ikk Jindri’, Zee TV and Studio LSD have come together yet again to present viewers with a new fiction offering – ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua.’ Set against the backdrop of old Delhi, the show focuses on the journey of Dua who is married to Haider. A pure soul and a very simple girl at heart, Dua feels extremely blessed and grateful as she is leading what she considers a perfect married life, until one day when Haider confesses to having fallen in love with another woman. He seeks Dua’s permission to marry her and she is left shattered. Whether Dua will grant Haider’s wish or stand up to her husband's request for a second marriage and assert the appropriate interpretation of the Quraan Kareem which spells out the circumstances that justify a second marriage forms the crux of this compelling narrative.

Every person has someone special in their life, who is their support system, especially when it comes to making big life decisions. For Karanvir Sharma, a.k.a. Haider, that person is his mother. Karanvir believes that his mother is his lady luck, she is someone who has supported and given him the best personal and professional advice. He considers himself lucky to have his mother beside him, who always encourages him to do better. In the show, the actor is flawlessly portraying Haider’s character, who has built invisible walls around him to keep his father away from him, but his mother means the world to him. Similar to his character, Karanvir trusts his real mother more than anyone else in life and attributes his stardom to her.  In fact, the woman who he would like to take on a date is his mother, so that he can make her feel special.

My mother has been my pillar of strength since the beginning of my career. She has been there for me in all my ups and downs of life, be it professional or personal, hence the credit for who and where I am today, goes to my mother. People say that lady luck really works like a miracle in every man’s life, and I believe for me, it will always be my mother above everyone else. So, the woman I would like to take on a date is my mother. She is one of the reasons I said a ‘YES’ to the show, ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’, and it truly makes me happy to see how proud she is of me and everything that I have achieved this far.”
