The First Frost star Bai Jingting steps into the role of a cop for Mobius - WATCH

The First Frost on Netflix has become the most viewed Chinese drama of all times on the platform. The male lead of the show, Bai Jingting has become an international hit with his fabulous performance as Sang Yan in the series. He has been declared as the best fictional character in the role of a romantic by drama viewers. The First Frost Bai Jingting will be seen as a cop Ding Qi who has super powers. On the show, he travels back in time on five different occasions to solve a crime. The actor’s lean mean look has already wowed fans. The trailer was shown at the Hong Kong TV Festival today.

The series is about a cop who can reverse time and repeat the cycle five times a day. Bai Jingting has played a soldier in his superhit series You Are My Hero. The director of Mobius Liu Zhangmu said that Bai Jingting surprised him with his acting chops and attention to detail. On the show, he is a Time Loop Receiver. They have worked before in Always On The Move. He said that while he knew Bai Jingting has a huge fan base in social media all over the world, he was taken aback by his talent. The director said he has a creative mind and contributes immensely to the project.

Even the team of The First Frost has praised Bai Jingting. They said the casting of Bai and Zhang Ruonan was criticized by many who were still thinking of Hidden Love. However, the two shut down naysayers with a consummate performance. The director Chu Yuning said Bai got the emotional graph of the character at the first reading and gave him the confidence that he could pull it off. His work is being loved all over making Sang Yan one of the most iconic roles of Chinese dramas.
