The Big Bang Theory becomes TV's Longest running sitcom and a fan asks Kabhi Balika Vadhu dekha hai

Popular American TV sitcom The Big Bang Theory has scripted history by defeating Cheers to become the longest running sitcom with it's 12th and final season. With 276 episodes, its is now officially the longest running American multi-camera sitcom, and this is a huge deal for fans.

Actor Kunal Nayyar, who plays the role of Raj Koothrappali in the show shared the good news with his and show's fans by posting a heartfelt post on his social media account. Also American actor Kaley Cuoco, who also features on the show, posted a group photo with the cast and crew and said she was "blessed, humbled, amazed, grateful." She also thanked the audience who supported the show over the last 12 seasons.

While all the fans were happy about their favorite TV show creating a history, a lot of fans were also discussing in the comment section about the credibility of it as a lot of shows have had many more seasons and episodes than The Big Bang Theory.
