The 'Bad Man' back in Action!!

Shaleen Bhanot, famous for his bad boy roles right from Karan in Saat Phere to Agni in Kulvaddhu and now the latest, Madan of Sangam is back in the show after a hiatus. The Telly Buzz team got in touch with the actor to find out what’s in store for the viewers of Sangam with his return.

Although Shaleen was reluctant to divulge any information on his return, the actor says, “I cannot say a lot about my return in the show, but all I can say is that Madan is back in Sangam. He has changed his looks and is shown in a different attire. And he is back to do a lot of good things which will obviously be bad for and Sagar.” Further on the track Shaleen adds, “There are a lot of twists and turns in the show. He will be one step closer in trying to make Ganga his, but then again if he succeeds in getting her, the story will end, so it’ll be all about Madan coming with more of his devious plans to separate Ganga and Sagar.”

Shaleen, though not seen on television for sometime, did keep himself busy even during the break he had taken as he says, “The break I took was fantastic. I was in for sometime. And it was not only a break, but did include work as I was also concentrating on my business. And since I came back early from , I got a chance to go to Rajasthan where I shot for an episodic for Star One. The days in Rajasthan were some of the best days of my life.”

On his future projects Shaleen says, “Right now I am just doing Sangam and Naagin, a serial on Zee and I do have a few more projects in the pipeline. If they materialize, I’ll definitely let you’ll know. I like to do roles that are creatively satisfying and right now television doesn’t really seem to be very creative, so I just have to wait and see what happens.”
