Aamir Khan's statement on the growing intolerance in India has generated mixed emotions on social networking sites!
At a recent event, the 'PK' actor mentioned about his wife, Kiran Rao fearing about the upbringing of her child and wanting to move out of the country, due to the growing intolerance in India.
While a lot of Bollywood personalities have took up to Twitter to express their resentment against the perfectionist, we at Tellybuzz asked our actors from the Television fraternity about their viewpoint on the same.

Karan Sharma, who is seen on Star Plus' 'Mohi': I completely disagree with whatever he said. India is a democratic country and everyone is entitled to express their views, but that doesn't mean you can defame my motherland by calling in intolerant.

Namish Taneja, currently seen on Colors' popular show 'Swaragini': I am quite surprised how come all of a sudden India became an intolerant nation? Whatever is happening since last couple of months is damaging India's image at international level. Whoever feels India is intolerant should come ahead to fix the problem and make it more incredible, instead of playing the blame game. Koi bhi desh perfect nahin hota... usse behtar banana padta hai.

Aman Yatan Verma who was recently eliminated from 'Bigg Boss 9- Double Trouble on Colors': It is the responsibility of the ruling party to look after these matters. Since childhood, we have been taught not to discriminate, but if the minority cast feels that the country has become intolerant, the government should take action to make sure they feel safe.

Mohit Malik last seen on 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' 8 on Colors: I am quite amazed as I do not think there is any situation which is alarming at the moment. I cannot understand why she would say something this on the first place. India is a country, which has not been stable since the beginning and things keep happening at different frequencies. I feel with the Modi sarkar now coming into action, things have changed for better and it is now a developing nation.

Ravi Bhatia last seen on Zee TV's 'Jodha Akbar': On one hand, our prime minister is trying his level best to get more investment in India and putting all efforts to stabilize our economy. While a few bunch of people are glorying India as 'intolerant' nation. I think India is one of the safest and most tolerant nation in the world.

Vineet Raina currently shooting for 'Begu Sarai' on &TV quipped : Though Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao won't be able to watch, those who aren't leaving the country can watch 'Begusarai' at 10 PM!
