Telly celebs on being Teacher's pet and their favorite teacher!

"You guided me when I was lost; You supported me when I was weak. You have enlightened me and today whatever I am is because of you my Teacher.' " Unknown

The above words stand true for our Telly celebs who owe it all to their teachers and on this Teacher's Day they wish to thank all their teachers for being a guiding light in their life.

With few of the television celebrities that we got in touch with, we got to know that some were also the Teacher's pet during school and college. They also spoke about their favorite teacher and gave a message for the teachers on this very special day.

Shamin Mannan last seen in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki - "I was a teacher's pet as I was very much a studious and obedient kid during school. The good thing was that I was the pet of my favorite teacher Raj Khuva. One of the other teachers who is my favorite is Neeraj Kabi. He is my theatre workshop teacher. Neeraj sir has not only taught me acting but also about general things in life. I admire him a lot for all the support and teachings that he has given me. I have changed in a good way after attending his workshop. Teachers are to be thanked and remembered always for their good work in teaching us the values and morals in our life. A very Happy Teacher's Day to all the teachers in my life."Kanwar Dhillon seen in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2 - "I have always been a teacher's pet in school and in college. I was very much committed to my studies and used to score pretty well and that was the quality that my teachers liked in me very much. But yes I am thankful and will always be to each and every teacher in my life as they taught me something or the other in my life which has contributed to making me the person that I am today. I would like to thank my parents who are also my teachers and who have been like a guiding light in my life.

Jyotsna Chandola seen in Haunted Nights - Kaun Hai Woh? - "I have always been a favorite student of all the teachers in my school. I was a very active student be it in studies, sports or even talking (laughs), and this was the reason which made me the favorite of all the teachers and also the principal. I have got to learn a lot from all the teachers and I fall short of words when I have to thank all the teachers as they deserve more than that. Even during college I was very much an active student and always used to be caught for talking in the class. My brother is in the same college in which I was, and all the teachers keep asking him about me and also tell him that you speak really less, your sister was one talkative student in the class. My teachers have added a meaning to my life and have given me the knowledge that is helping me in my present and will help in future too. I thank all my teachers every day for being an inspiration to me. We should love and support all the teachers in our life and learn from them as much as we can. My favorite teacher during school was my Hindi teacher Mrs. Kapoor who taught me to speak and right Hindi as I was not that well in that subject. Today that I speak fluently Hindi is all because of her and I am very thankful to her.
