Tejasswi Prakash on DIFFERENT treatment than senior actors during initial days: 'Were given better food..'

Tejasswi Prakash, currently a part of Celebrity Master Chef on Sony TV, recently opened up on not recieving fair treatment in the early days of her career.

Speaking to Zoom, the Naagin 6 fame recalled how, when she worked with senior actors during her first show, she received unfair treatment and that they would get everything better than what she did. ''Initially, when I worked with senior actors who were more known than I was. I would be treated very differently. They would be given better rooms, better vanity vans and even better food to eat. At the initial phase of my career, I have faced such issues,'' the actress recalls.

The Bigg Boss 15 winner then goes ahead to reveal that she soon realised her worth and refused to take such an unfair treatment in her other shows. Tejasswi says, ''By the end of my second show, I realised my worth and I refused to be treated less than anyone else. I realised that I wasn’t being paid well, and then I asked for more. I realised people want to see me more, then why should I get less money?''

For the uninformed, the actress, who has been a part of several succesful shows, rose to fame with her stint in Colors TV's Swaragini where she shared the screen with Helly Shah. The show went ahead to be highly succesful, post which, Tejasswi also starred in shows like 'Pehredar piya ki,' 'Rishta likhenge hum naya,' 'Karn Sangini' and more. Tejasswi then went ahead to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi, which she left midway owing to an injury. She later participated in Bigg Boss 15 and eventually won the show.
