In light of the situation, Tara Sutaria took to Instagram to share her first post following Aadar Jain's statement. She uploaded a picture of a cozy spot with the caption, "My company for the eve.."

During the intimate celebration, which was graced by Bollywood stars such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor, Aadar expressed his love for Alekha.

This statement sparked widespread criticism, with many slamming Aadar for seemingly calling his previous relationship “timepass." Prior to his romance with Alekha, Aadar was in a relationship with Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria. The two frequently made public appearances together and attended Kapoor family gatherings, including Christmas celebrations and Armaan Jain’s wedding. However, they called it quits in 2023.

Interestingly, Alekha and Tara shared a friendly bond. They followed each other on social media, and Alekha once jokingly referred to herself as the “third wheel" in a post featuring Aadar and Tara. Reports suggest she even joined the ex-couple on a trip to Paris in 2022.
