Tapan Sinha ill, hospitalised

Kolkata, Aug 3 (IANS) Veteran filmmaker Tapan Sinha, who last month won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, was hospitalised Sunday following complaints of breathlessness.

Sinha, admitted to a private city hospital, also had fever. Hospital sources said the 84-year-old film director was being treated.

'His condition is stable,' a hospital official told IANS.
