Indian fans had been eagerly waiting for Tabu’s big Hollywood debut to finally happen on Dune: Prophecy. With the recently released episode, that did happen, and Tabu as Sister Francesca on the show happened to become one of the show’s biggest highlights.

In the 5th and second last episode of Dune: Prophecy Tabu made a grand entry. Talking about Tabu’s role in the show, an executive producer revealed in a video released by the show’s official handle, that Tabu had to take a ‘front and central role’. Now that Sister Francesca has entered the show, she has to convince Emperor Dune, played by Mark Strong, to allow their son to rule.

Earlier at the show’s premiere, Tabu had called this character layered, deep, and intense. She also shared how Sister Francesca’s character had also allowed her to explore the various aspects of the human mind.

Dune is set in an era that is 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides, Dune: Prophecy explores the journey of two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces threatening humanity’s survival. Tabu’s character, Sister Francesca, plays a pivotal role, bringing depth and intensity to the storyline.
