Actress Tabu since her debut in 1982, has consistently wowed audiences with her versatile performances. From unraveling mysteries as IG Meera Deshmukh in "Drishyam," Tabu's cinematic journey has been a captivating one. Her latest venture, "Khufiya," is no exception, captivating hearts and minds once again.

In "Khufiya," Tabu takes on the role of a Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) operative, a stark departure from her previous portrayals as a police officer.

We had the privilege of catching up with Tabu in a recent conversation with Netflix India, where she candidly discussed her transition from being a cop to a spy.

Known for her past roles as a police officer, notably in "Drishyam," Tabu humorously remarked, "Bohot promotion ho chuke hain mere. Abhi thore din un logo ne mujhe leave pe bheja hai. Kuch aur kar ke aao" (I have had a lot of promotions. For a few days, they have sent me on leave saying go and do something else).

"Khufiya," released on October 5th, is an espionage thriller directed by the renowned Vishal Bhardwaj. Alongside Tabu, the film stars Ali Fazal and Ashish Vidyarthi in pivotal roles. The film's intricate narrative revolves around Tabu's character, Krishna Mehra, an operative at the RAW agency, who embarks on a mission to unearth a mole within the organization.
