'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' fame Dilip Joshi to campaign for BJP

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Dilip Joshi has been enthralling the audience with his acting chops and amazing comic timing in both Bollywood and Television industry. He is known to bring the character of Jethalal Champaklal Gada to life which Taarak Mehta...fans would never forget.

Well, the actor these days, is creating a buzz but this time it's not about his show or acting.

According to reports, Dilip will be visiting Rajasthan to campaign for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018. The actor will be campaigning for the ruling party's candidate Lalit Oswal, who is contesting elections from Bari Sadri Assembly seat in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. The polling for 200-seat Rajasthan Assembly will be held on December 7, 2018 and the result will be out on December 11, 2018.

Dilip as we know, has a huge fan base and is expected to attract crowd for the candidate. He started his career with the film Maine Pyaar Kiya, he has worked in television shows like Daal Mein kaala, Kora Kaagaz, Do Aur Do Paanch and Shubh Mangalam Saavdhan among many others.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the most popular sitcom and it also happens to be one of the longest running shows on Indian Television. The show is based on the column Duniya Ne Undha Chashma' in Gujarati weekly magazine Chitralekha by real life columnist and journalist/playwright Taarak Mehta. It is a sitcom produced under the banner Neela Telefilms, the story is set in a society named Gokuldham Society where the story revolves around the lives of eight families.
