Taapsee Pannu confirms producing Samantha Ruth Prabhu led venture

In a recent conversation with a web portal, Taapsee Pannu confirmed that she will be backing another film which will be headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making significant strides in Bollywood following a strong performance in The Family Man 2. Meanwhile, in a recent conversation with a web portal, Taapsee Pannu confirmed that she will be backing another film which will be headlined by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. 

  • “There is something that we are working together on. We will announce what it is very soon. But yes, we are working on something together. I will be producing it,” 

Taapsee exclaimed.

For the unversed, in one of her previous interviews in 2021, Taapsee had opened up on her desire to work with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and produce a film. Highlighting on which, Taapsee is revving up for the release of her production venture Dhak Dhak.

Showing her enthusiasm for the film Dhak Dhak, which also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza Rekhi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi. Tthe Baby actress remarked that there is a certain childlike delight in her to see that happening when she see's Dhak Dhak's everyday call sheet, images, and videos from the place. It just feels like that in terms of how you feel when you are holding your baby. 

In the meantime, Taapsee recently unveiled the Shabaash Mithu trailer, which has garnered positive feedback from viewers. The film is a sports biopic which revolves around the life of female cricketer Mithali Raj. 

Meanwhile, Samantha will also appear in the Indian adaptation of "Citadel," which is directed by Raj and DK, in addition to this production. In this web series, she will share screen space with Varun Dhawan.
