Sumbul hasn't changed even a bit: Vaibhavi Kapoor on reuniting with Sumbul Touqeer after five years for Imlie

Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ has geared up for an interesting track wherein Aryan’s old friend Jyoti has entered the show. Jyoti looks friendly but has arrived in the show with ulterior motives. She once had plans to get hitched to Aryan and they shared a great camaraderie since college days.

Actress Vaibhavi Kapoor plays the character of Jyoti in the show. Her entry is set to hit the TV screens from tonight while the ardent fans already caught the glimpse of actress in the show on Hotstar. Sumbul Touqeer who plays the lead role in the show welcomed Vaibhavi aboard and also revealed that she has reunited with the actress after five years.

Sumbul and Vaibhavi were a part of Big Magic show Chakradhari Ajay Krishna wherein Sumbul played the character of Krishna’s sister Subhadra while Vaibhavi played the character of his wife Rukmani. India Forums got in touch with actress Vaibhavi to know about her experience on reuniting with Sumbul after five years.

Vaibhavi said, “It’s amazing to re-connect with Sumbul after so long. We were both newbies during our first show and now seeing her as an established actress feels great. She was always a nice actress but I must say, she has polished her craft and have become quite mature in her craft. It was great to have a known face in the team and she made me feel extremely comfortable. The best part is that she has not changed even a bit. She is still that cute little naughty, bubbly yet hardworking child. We share a sisterly bond”.
