Sugandha Mishra opens up on stint in Wagle Ki Duniya

Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey continues to connect with viewers through its relatable stories and heartfelt family moments. The show now introduces a new and dramatic character, Suman Gadhiya, played by popular actor and comedian Sugandha Mishra.

Suman is loud, theatrical, and full of surprises. She claims to be doing “research” for a role in a drama show and moves into the Sai Darshan Society to observe middle-class life. Working alongside Yamini (Manasi Joshi), she convinces her to let her stay for a while. However, Suman’s reasons are not as innocent as they seem.

Soon, the show takes a shocking turn. Suman falsely accuses Rajesh Wagle (played by Sumeet Raghvan) of inappropriate behavior. She sets up a trap to frame him, leaving the entire society stunned. However, Rajesh’s wife Vandana (Pariva Pranati) and daughter Sakhi (Chinmayi Salvi) firmly believe in his honesty and stand by him.

As the drama unfolds, it becomes clear that Suman’s actions are fueled by an old grudge. But what is she hiding? And why is she targeting Rajesh and his family? The answers will slowly unfold as the mystery deepens.

Talking about her role, Sugandha Mishra said, “I loved playing Suman. She’s full of surprises and very entertaining. I also got to do emotional scenes, which was a new experience. Working with Bharti Achrekar ji and the rest of the team was amazing. They made me feel very welcome.”

Sumeet Raghvan shared, “Rajesh is a character who always does the right thing. So being falsely accused hits hard, not just for him but for his entire family. The show handles this tough situation with a lot of sensitivity. Working with Sugandha was great—she brought so much energy and nailed her role.”

With high drama and emotional depth, this new storyline promises to keep viewers hooked.
