While it is still burgeoning, it is safe to say that Indian television has come miles ahead in terms of style and glamour. And that can be easily gauged with the kind of brides they exhibit in the shows.

One such path-breaking daily soap is Colors' Ek Shringaar -Swabhimaan which stays true to its name and dishes out some spectacular costumes and jewellery (every Indian woman's pride).

While we are talking about it, Naina's (Ankita Sharmaa) bridal look is totally worth a mention and appreciation. It is a beautiful blue and pink lehenga away from the regular bridal colours - red and maroons, finished with a beige dupatta and glamed-up using ostentatious kundan jewellery.
