"Stay Calm and enjoy the rumors"

You can't go one week without hearing a bizarre story regarding some of your much loved celebrities. Thankfully, TellyBuzz is here to sort out what's real and what's fake. This week we got in touch with the talented Devoleena Bhattacharjee a.k.a Gopi  Bahu of Rashmi Sharma's popular daily soap Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus.

Here is what she said...

What was the craziest rumor you have ever heard about yourself?

There are many rumors that I have heard about myself out of which I would like to share with you. As I started shooting for Saath Nibhana Saathiya as Gopi, a reporter from a leading newspaper had reported that I and my co-actor Mohammad Nazim are going around (in-relationship). I was shocked to hear the rumor but I ignored it and headed further with positivity. When there is nothing truth in that reported piece of the article then why should I panic (laughs).

What were your family's and friends' reactions towards it?

They ignored it totally because they knew that if anything as such was there then I would come forward and say about it. My family trusts me.

If the person who is spreading the rumor ever comes in front of you, then what will you do to him/her?

I will ignore that person (laughs).

Any advice for the celebrities who have to face such rumors day to day?

Stay Calm and enjoy these rumors. You should feel that those people who are spreading these news have so much time to think about you. They have nothing interesting going on in their life and that is why they are interested in your life.

If you look back and remember the rumor, then how do you react? Do you laugh or get angry?

I simply laugh at it.
