Star Plus' upcoming mega show ropes in a NEW actress..!

Star Plus always manages to be a table-topper with their fierce rivals being Colors channel, who makes it to the top spot sporadically.

However, Star Plus gives the unusual blend of quintessential saas-bahu dramas like 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' and fresh modern shows like 'Ishqbaaaz'. And now, the channel is all set to present another show based on the life of a veteran filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt.

Tentatively titled, 'Naamkaran', the show has absorbed actors Viraf Phiroz Patel and Barkha Bisht in the lead roles along with actor, Puru Chibber in a pivotal role.

And now, the show has roped in another actress, who will be cast opposite Puru; and that is actress, Pooja Verma.

This show will be Pooja's debut on Hindi television. She is a notable actress on the Punjabi film circuit.

The show is set to be launched in September where it will be replacing the departing show, 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'.
