Star Plus pushes premium content by introducing mini-series

Digital space is the future of entertainment industry and the rapid growth of OTT platforms and the content being produced and presented on it makes it evident. Viewers too are preferring the digital medium as it is convenient, cheap and more experimental. While there is already an unsaid competition between the online streaming platforms, popular network Star Plus is also ready to jump in the pool.

Yes, You read it right!

The latest news coming in is that Star Plus will go premium and will come up with out-of-the-box concepts with mini-series which will be of 26 episodes each. Apparently, The idea is to compete directly with the high premium quality content available on popular digital platforms. Star Plus has reached out to multiple producers for the mini-series concepts, and has already started commissioning few concepts.

Doesn't it sound interesting? We're totally looking forward to the Mini-series.

Limited episodes show is good but they put it at a time no one can watch them!!!!

They need to bring kids shows also like Shakalaka Boom Boom and Son Pari. Not every kid can watch cartoon every time. For others, they need to bring back shows like Desi Avengers that is Shhh Koi Hai Trikal and Aktion Unlimited Josh. These shows were from Star Plus only. It's high time there should be good watchable shows like some shows we had in 80s, 90s and early 2000s.
