Star Plus pushes premium content by introducing mini-series

Digital space is the future of entertainment industry and the rapid growth of OTT platforms and the content being produced and presented on it makes it evident. Viewers too are preferring the digital medium as it is convenient, cheap and more experimental. While there is already an unsaid competition between the online streaming platforms, popular network Star Plus is also ready to jump in the pool. 

Yes, You read it right!

The latest news coming in is that Star Plus will go premium and will come up with out-of-the-box concepts with mini-series which will be of 26 episodes each.  Apparently, The idea is to compete directly with the high premium quality content available on popular digital platforms. Star Plus has reached out to multiple producers for the mini-series concepts, and has already started commissioning few concepts.
