Remember those days when weekday lunch meant your plate in the front, with food in one hand and the TV remote in the other? Those were the days when the 90's kids waited for the 'saas-bahu' serials to end so that they could switch to the cartoon channels. Looks like the generations to come will have a similar fate!

We have exclusively reported about Star Plus revamping its afternoon time slot, and, Diya Aur Baati Hum 2 (now titled as Tu Suraj Main Saanjh Piyaji) is the first show to be a part of the slot.

The latest we now hear is that two new shows that will be adding to the afternoon time slot's list are - 'Ek Aastha Aisa Bhi' and the remake of popular Turkish drama Fatmagul.

Ek Aastha Aisa Bhi's has Kanwar Dhillon and Tina Philip as the main leads and the 24 Frames production, the remake of Fatmagul has roped in newbie Pankhuri Awasthy as the main lead.

I can't wait for Ek Aastha Aisa Bhi and Fatmagul's remake. The concepts of both shows are fabulous. Ek Aastha Aisa Bhi is about an Athiest and as is obvious, Fatmagul's remake will be finite. Fatmagul was such a lovely show. Star Plus, please keep the story to the point. Then the trps might increase. Even though I do wish it had got a prime timeslot instead of an afternoon one

I always wanted Kunal Karan Kapoor done the main lead actor. He will excellent portraying that role. Kanwar!!!! He will be pathetic. Can't imagine , the show ruined before it started.

Stupid IF writers, Pankhuri Awasthy is not a newbie. She was one of the parallel leads in Fanaah Season 2, main lead of Razia Sultan and Draupadi of Suryaputra Karna. Do proper research before writing any article. I hope cvs don't ruin the remake of Fatmagul by showing nonsense things.

They are making the Remake of Fatmagul...hope they do justice to the script & they cast fab actors since Fatmagul 's concept was so sensitive & they execution of the was fantastic with brilliant star cast & the love story of Fatmagul & Kerim was so heart touching
