Ssharad Malhotra set to star in Ekta Kapoor's next!

Actor Ssharad Malhotra had a breakthrough with his show, 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhann'. Though he wasn't on the tube for almost five years, Ssharad always managed to stay in the news courtesy his relationship with his Dulhan co-star, Divyanka Tripathi.

He made a successful comeback on TV with the historical saga, 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra-Maharana Pratap'.

According to a leading news daily, Ssharad has now bagged another show. Its a family drama this time, which is Ekta Kapoor's next show. The show will replace 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi', another Ekta's show.

There is a range of trivia to it, where Ssharad is starring in a family drama after seven years and Ekta Kapoor going back to the vault and titling her next as 'Kasam' (remember 'Kasamh Se').

The story is said to be an intense love story where Ssharad's character will be portrayed as a casanova business tycoon who takes up boxing as a hobby to impress girls.

We tried contacting Ssharad multiple times, however, he remained unavailable.
