Sreejita's fiance Michael opens up on her game in 'Bigg Boss 16'

Bigg Boss 16 continues to be the most controversial TV show of the year. Sreejita De, as one would remember was the first contestant who was eliminated from the show but she re-entered as a wild card. Sreejita is getting a strong support from outside from her fiancé Michael. Sreejita dated Michael for quite sometime before he went down on one knee to propose to her in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Talking about Sreejita game and her journey in Bigg Boss. 

Q1) Who do you think is the competition of Sreejita?

They are all part of the same competition and while everyone inside is differently perceived and portrayed, they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I don’t see 1 or 2 specific individuals that she can be compared with, because every one of them is there for a reason and to be respected as a competitor. I would not be surprised if we see one of the underdogs‘ lifting the trophy at the end. That would give this great season a perfect ending.

Q2) How far do you see Sreejita going in the game?

I strongly believe that there is a fake perception created by some teams that their contestants are overshadowing everyone else. Though it’s quite evident that some contestants make use of bots to artificially support this impression.

Nevertheless, one has to acknowledge that some contestants have created strong organic support, e.g. Priyanka, Shiv, and Stan, and of course Abdu, they are probably ahead. But let’s not forget that only a very small portion of the audience will be active on social media (especially Twitter) showing their support.

Bigg Boss recently got an extension. The show makers announced to the contestants that the ongoing season 16 will be extended by two months. The show will now continue till February 12, 2023. The last season of the show was also extended by two weeks, due to the high viewership.
