Set in the present age, Mata Ki Chowki, produced by Swastik Pictures on Sahara One is the story of Vaishnavi, an orphan who is found by a Pandit couple of Vaishno Devi shrine.

Mata Ki Chowki is a soap which compels us to believe in the power of spirituality and morality and is the only soap daily that is being aired seven days a week.

Recently, there was a sequence shot on the set wherein Vaishnavi was going to destroy the Devil and bring back positivity in the house. Aarti was celebrated in very big way where all family members were present. Actors who graced the occasion included Shantipriya, Muskaan, Sudesh Beri, Sheela Sharma, Usha Bachani, Krishna Soni, Rahul Raj Singh, Sachal Tyagi, Seema Malik, Sai Ballal, along with Producer Siddharth Tiwary and Vikas Seth.

On the occasion of Ganpati Aarti, Devotional Singer Mr. Lakhbir Singh Lakkha was present. Lakhbir Singh Lakha is an Amateur singer who mainly sings Religious music in Punjabi.  Lakkhaji not only sings in Hindi and Punjabi but also sings in Bhojpuri, Uria, Rajsthani, Gujrati and Haryanvi languages. He was accompanied by his full team including his son Panna and well known bhajan singer and writer Mahant Saral Kavi Ji.
