Sony TV's 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' to return with a new season

While many TV shows are marking their exit from the industry, there are some who are returning with their new seasons. After the recent comeback of very popular medical TV drama Sanjivani 2, this time news is coming from Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. The makers are planning to return with the second season with the much-loved series.

It has been three years since the time the first season's inception. As per the reports of Bombay Times, the second season will hit in December and currently, the casting is under process. 

A little birdie informs BT that season one of the show was appreciated by the audience and that they wanted to bring it back with a new season. They are positive that they will be able to recreate the magic. Now they are in the process of locking the story and the cast of the show.

Vishal Mehra who is heading the project confirmed the news to the daily and said that the essence of ‘EDKV’, a love story, will be the foundation of the upcoming season as well. The new edition will be set in Bhopal and scouting for actors in Bhopal, Gwalior, and Indore to play the lead couple is underway.

The first season of EDKV was a blast and it made Nikita Dutta and Namik Paul popular names in every household.
