Sonia Rathee on Broken But Beautiful 4: It would be insensitive to even discuss this possibility this soon

Sonia Rathee made headlines with her performance in Broken But Beautiful 3 as she played the role of Rumi in the show. Playing the male lead opposite her was late actor Sidharth Shukla, and the two received heaps of praises for portraying AgMi (Agastya and Rumi) the way they did.

It was only recently that there was a mention of Broke But Beautiful season 4, however, after Sidharth's unfortunate demise, one would wonder if that still is a possibility. India Forums reached out to Sonia and asked her what does she think about it. To that, she told us, ''We had initially discussed getting back into the world of Agastya and Rumi for season 4 and were incredibly excited about the idea. But now, considering the unfortunate situation, I think it would be insensitive to be even discussing this possibility this soon.''

She added, ''Broken But Beautiful 3 will always hold a special place in all our hearts, especially when it comes to the audience who’ve just showered the show with so much love. At this point, it’s the producers call on how to take this memory forward. But we as a team will always cherish the show and the experiences, we had on it.''

Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2 after a cardiac arrest. Broken But Beautiful 3 was the last project that the actor was seen in. Apart from that, he was due to feature in a song with Shehnaaz Gill, photos of which had taken over social media a couple of weeks ago.
