Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan has raised a strong point as she shared why the Covid-19 vaccine should be provided to all actors. Currently, the government allows everyone above 45 years of age to take the vaccine shot.
Actor-author Suhel Seth’s tweeted saying that the government should open vaccination to all and not prioritise based on professions.
Soni Razdan reacted to the same as she took a stand for actors and asked COVID-19 vaccination to be allowed for them. "So many actors get COVID and are at huge risk when working. I mean we actually can’t wear masks. But no one seems to think they need to be able to take the vaccine yet” she wrote.
An user responded to her by saying that “acting is not a crucial profession to be carried out on daily basis”, to which Razdan gave a sharp response.
The veteran actress hit back by saying that actor’s risk their lives to create content and wrote, “Oh and every actor isn’t a huge superstar .. so those who are whining on about that can keep shut. Stop watching content na then. It is made with great risk to the concerned actors lives. Being at the top of ones profession can’t be a disqualification for a vaccine. Jeez.”
