Sonam Kapoor slashes down her fee for Neerja!

Sonam Kapoor starrer film 'Neerja' is slated to be produced in a budget as low as of as 25 Crores. The biographical film is based on the life of purser named 'Neerja Bhanot' who risked and lost her life in rescuing the passengers from terrorists. The film has been quite appreciated by the audience due to its touching story line.

Earlier we reported about 'Neerja's' family who took no royalty amount from the film makers for the story. Joining the bandwagon is the film's lead actress Sonam Kapoor who did her bit to support in the making of the film.

According to a report in a leading daily, the actress was impressed with the concept of the film and thus she reduced her charges for the film.  The film's producer Atul Kasbekar was quoted in the report stating that, "Yes, Sonam reduced her fee for Neerja. There is no other way this movie could have been made". [sic]

Atul has given all the credits to film's story which is said to be so inspiring that many people associated with the film wanted it to be made and thus they generously extended their support for it.
