Sonam Kapoor shares first look of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's announced autobiography

While director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has managed to seal his spot as one of the finest directors in this country and has churned out big successes over the years, there is one film by the man which will and is responsible for being immortal as a chapter in Hindi cinema - and that film is Rang De Basanti.

The film, though not Mehra's debut film pretty much revolutionised how films are made, perceived and became a glorious chapter. Now, after massive successes like Rang De Basanti and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag among many other films, he is set to showcase a side of his not many know about as he recently announced his autobiography called The Stranger In The Mirror.

Published by Rupa Publications, the book will hit the stands across the country on July 27. While the man himself shared the announcement on Instagram, actor Sonam Kapoor who has worked with him in Delhi 6 and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag revealed the cover of the book on her account-

Mehra made his debut in Hindi cinema with Aks back in 2001 and recently had his film Toofaan released on Amazon Prime Video. The autobiography's foreword has been written by Rahman, with whom the director collaborated on his previous two films Rang De Basanti and Delhi 6.
