Sonal Parihar turns Banjaran for a TV show!

Talented beauty Sonal Parihar, who is currently seen on Sony TV's 'Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan' as Satyabhama seems to be on a roll these days.

The actress has recently bagged a role in the episodic show, 'Shapath'.

Having essayed different characters recently on episodic shows like 'Agent Raghav' and 'Crime Patrol', Sonal will soon be seen in yet another different role on Life Ok's 'Shapath - Super Cops v/s Super Villains'. 

Our source informs us, "The show will soon be coming up with an interesting story revolving around a small village. The village follows an unusual tradition where the winner of a Kushti (wrestling) competition goes on to become the representative of the village. However, incidentally, the winners who become the representative, eventually die in the most unanticipated manner. Further, Supercops involve in solving the case."

"Sonal has been roped in for essaying the role of a Banjaran, who stays at the Kabilas nearby to the village and is desired by every man in the village, including the son of the village head. What follows next is an interesting twist associated with her character, which will get unfold at the climax of the story," concludes our source.

When we contacted Sonal, she said, "There is a lot of variations and variety in the story. There have been dance sequences, real Akhaada scenes and romantic angles. The experience shooting for such a story was really good. We were given a lot of freedom by our director; he wanted everything to be totally natural and we never used to realize how easily we used to finish the long scenes. I am really happy with the way my character has been introduced and represented on the show. I am really looking forward to it."
