Sonakshi Sinha getting married to Zaheer Iqbal?

There are rumours that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are going to be married later this month. They have been together since some time now. Sonakshi Sinha has always kept mum about her personal life. But Zaheer Iqbal and she have not shied away from showing affection to one another. Sonakshi Sinha who did a great job as the vengeful Fareedan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi is on a professional high. The reports said that they had plans to marry since a while now but postponed it as dad Shatrughan Sinha had election duties.

Sonakshi Sinha told a publication that she is always asked about her marriage. She said she does not pay heed to it. Sona said more than her parents, outsiders seem to be bothered about when she is going to marry. Sonakshi Sinha said she does not care, and cannot help people’s curiosity.

- I get asked about it all the time, and now, it’s like it goes in one ear and out the other. Firstly, it’s nobody’s business.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will apparently get married in Bastian. It seems the wedding will be followed by a big party. The father of the rumoured bride Shatrughan Sinha said that children nowadays do not take consent of parents for big decisions. He said that the family will surely know if they marry. He said he is sure Sonakshi Sinha will not do something that disappoints him.

It seems they met first at a party at the place of Salman Khan. Zaheer Iqbal’s family is very close to him. They have a jewellery business. The two clicked right away. In 2023, they made a grand entrance as a couple at the Eid party of Aayush Sharma and Arpita Khan Sharma. They were also seen together at the wedding reception of Sharmin Segal. She put up a loved-up post for him in his birthday in December. It read, “The cray to my Z(ee)… this is quite self explanatory. Happy birthday to my very own personal psycho.”
