Since I didn't win Bigg Boss 16, I'm pumped up to rock my upcoming project: Shiv Thakare

Bigg Boss 16 has finally culminated and the show has a winner. Rapper MC Stan lifted the coveted trophy of the show along with a huge prize money. The final call was between MC Stan and Shiv Thakare.

Shiv Manohar Rao Uttam Rao Jinguji Gannuji Thakare was one of the most popular, talked-about and deserving candidates of the season. Shiv led his group of friends, famously called as ‘the mandali’. After winning Bigg Boss Marathi season 2, Shiv was quite dedicated to win the hindi version of the show as well and must say, his journey in the show has been phenomenal. 

Post the winner’s announcement, India Forums got the chance of exclusively interviewing Thakare and in a candid chat, Shiv said, “I believe whatever happens, happens for good. I wanted more visibility throughout the nation with the hindi version of Bigg Boss and I believe I’ve some what achieved it. Now, if I want to work in the industry, people will recognize me. Winning is of course important, but I’m happy that my stint in the show got recognition and this recognition will help me grow in my career”.

I gave my 100 percent right from the beginning to the show but at the end a few things are written in your fate and you can’t do much about it. I believe after winning Bigg Boss Marathi, if I’d won Bigg Boss 16, my passion for upcoming projects would have gone down. Now that I didn’t win this season, I’ll be all pumped up to rock my upcoming projects.

Talking about his bond with Nimrit which was quite appreciated, Shiv said, “My friendship with Nimrit was very organic. I remember we were just sitting together one fine day and she shared her feelings with me and from that day onwards, we started to bond better. We showed our possessiveness in friendship as well and I’m glad to have made such beautiful relations inside the house which will stay with me forever”.

When asked if he regrets anything throughout his journey, Shiv answered, “So, I gave my 100 percent right from the beginning to the show but at the end a few things are written in your fate and you can’t do much about it. I believe after winning Bigg Boss Marathi, if I’d won Bigg Boss 16, my passion for upcoming projects would have gone down. Now that I didn’t win this season, I’ll be all pumped up to rock my upcoming projects”.
