Sidharth Shukla's family release an official statement

Sidharth Shukla‘s family members will be organizing a prayer-meet for the departed soul on Monday at 5 pm. The prayer session will be conducted online considering the COVID-19 protocols and the actor’s legion of fans who would want to mourn the loss. 

The actor's family has released an official statement expressing their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth's journey and showered him with unconditional love. They even mentioned that Sidharth valued his privacy, hence they request everyone to allow the family the privacy to grieve.

Also, the family thanked Mumbai Police for their sensitivity and compassion and also for protecting them like a shield. The statement read: Protecting us and standing by them every minute of the day. 

Sidharth passed away on September 2 following a heart attack in the wee hours on Thursday.
