Sidharth Shukla on Bhula Dunga: I am humbled and Grateful to the Audience!

Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill released their song Bhula Dunga today which is sung and composed by Darshan Raval and directed by Punit J Pathak. In just a few hours, the song has been a huge hit amongst the viewers and is already trending. 

In a chat with Sidharth Shukla, he revealed to us about his experience shooting for the song, working with Shehnaaz, response from the fans and much more...

 As this is your debut music video, how was the experience shooting for the same?

It’s been a fantastic experience working on this song and it’s truly a fabulous team! Darshan is a fabulous singer and extremely talented, Punit Pathak is stellar at his work and the entire team working on the project is fabulous. And of course, it’s great working with Shehnaaz once again. It’s truly a beautiful song!  The entire team has worked very hard and we are happy with the tremendous feedback we have been getting. 

The song has reached over a million views in just a few hours and is trending everywhere, what's your take on that? Did you expect such a response?

I am humbled and grateful to the audience. We are getting a great response and the audience has really been showering us with a lot of positive feedback.  I don't think you can 'expect' the response but with the kind of talented team we had on board, I knew that their hard work will be appreciated.  

 The fans loved your chemistry with Shehnaaz, how was the overall experience shooting with her. 

Its been great working with Shehnaaz, she's a fun loving person and brings a different energy on to the sets.  

What is that one thing which compelled you to take up this project?

The song is beautiful, the team is fabulous and hence there was no way I could say no.  I remember the first time I heard the song, I loved it and just asked the makers, when are we shooting it?    

 How's the experience working with Darshan and Punit.

Its been great, they are both amazingly talented people!  Darshan is a fabulous singer and Punit has done such stellar work in this video!   

Any fun memories from the sets?

We had a lot of fun and the song was shot right before the virus locked us up all indoors so locking back I am glad that I was working right before the virus wave which has all under house arrest now.
