Shweta Tiwari talks about Anjali's character breaking stereotypes in MDKD

Sony Entertainment Television’s Mere Dad Ki Dulhan that stars Varun Badola, Shweta Tiwari, and Anjali Tatrari in the lead roles has been successfully keeping the viewers hooked to the screens. The show is much loved for the chalk and cheese chemistry between Amber Sharma and Guneet Sikka, who finally began dating and confessed their love to each other. Though they kept their relationship under wraps and were meeting each other secretly. 

As the story unfolds, Niya gets to know about Amber and Guneet’s affair. However, being the responsible and loving daughter that she is, Niya will support her father with his decision as she wants to see him happy in life. Speaking about Niya supporting her dad, Shweta Tiwari said, “Niya is setting an excellent example for the youth and breaking the stereotypes by being supportive of her father’s love life and getting a Dulhan for him. She is stepping forward despite all odds for her father's happiness as she feels that everyone needs a partner in life and wants to see him happy and settled in his life.”

Adding further to this, she said, “I feel that Niya is television favourite daughter as her character is very understanding and caring towards her dad. Also, she is giving out a strong message to everyone watching the show that, no matter how old you are you can always find your ideal companion just like her dad. True love knows no age barriers.”
