"Shooting with male co-actors is difficult." - Shikha Singh

Starting her career with shows like Left Right Left (SAB TV), Mahabharat (Star Plus), Sasural Simar Ka (Colors) and Na Aana Is Desh Laado (Colors), Shikha Singh was least interested in acting!

So how come she landed in the city of dreams and pursued a career which she never imagined in her wildest dreams? Lets know more about the pretty looking actor who currently essays Aaliya in Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya.

Shikha said, "I was studying in Chandigarh and I wanted to become an A.I.S officer. That is the reason I came to Mumbai. Acting was never on my mind but somehow I guess I was destined to land into this field."

While Shikha is having a blast in the profession she never aspired to be in, she elaborated her experience shooting for Kumkum Bhagya.

The actor said, "I started shooting with the cast of Kumkum Bhagya one and a half year back and we all are best of friends now. Especially Mrunal Thakur! We both are spontaneous energetic and proactive beings. I am a very naughty person love playing pranks. I and Shabbir Ahluwalia are the primary pranksters on our sets. Because of my sharp looks, people generally perceive me as an angry young woman but in reality, I am a very jovial person."

Talking about fun on sets, we hear that Shikha finds it difficult to shoot with her male co-stars! Why so?

Lets' hear it from the actress herself! 

"(Laughs) Well, I find it very difficult to shoot with male co-actors because I am tall and hence I do not get the liberty to wear heels. Also, I need to bend a little when I am shooting with my co-stars to match their height. It feels good to be tall but then there are times I feel awkward too."

Hmm...

Talking about her hobbies, Shikha spoke of her love for adventure activities and how homely person.

The fine-looking actor said, "I love going for adventurous trips such as scuba diving and riding bikes too. Not many people believe but I am fond of cooking too and I love dancing. So when I have a day of and I am not planning any trip, I watch movies, meet my friends and workout. I am not a person who likes to party. I hit the bed maximum by 11 pm."
