Shivani Tomar, the new lead opposite Ssharad Malhotra in Kasam post leap?

Remember actress Shivani Tomar, who rose to fame with Channel V's Friends: Conditions Apply? The pretty actress was in the news for bagging Barun Sobti's comeback show Mohra. But now that the show has been shelved, the actress, in all probability, will be seen in Colors' Kasam Tere Pyaar Kii.

We had earlier reported about the current lead, Kratika Sengar quitting the show post leap. The makers have been looking for a replacement since a really long time.

The show's basic concept in reincarnation and Kratika's character Tanu, is supposed to die and be reincarnated. But the makers had not finalized any actress for the reincarnation part.

There were reports of Krystle Dsouza being finalised for that part, but the actress neither confirmed the development nor denied it. But now, there are reports that Shivani has been approached for the show and is in final talks for the same.

The actress reportedly told a leading daily that nothing had been confirmed.

We contacted Shivani who told us that she had indeed auditioned for the role but was not finalized till the time of filing the story.
