Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali actress Shivangi Khedkar has been receiving a lot of love for her performance in the role of Pallavi. While being in the entertainment industry does come along with its own set of perks, especially for those who work with utmost passion, there are also pressures, and its own set of disadvantages. India Forums got in touch with Shivangi and asked her what would she say is something that is the most difficult part of the job, and the pressures that she deals with.
The actress quips, ''I believe going on the set every day for 12 hours, and when you are performing for a good 1 year, 2 year, etc, you wonder 'Am I going to get bored' or something like that. However, at the same time, I feel the advantage to it is that I get to know Pallavi every day, I see a new side and I work on the character for a long time, when I am living as Pallavi for the last 8 months, and every day, I discover something new about her. I don't think it is a disadvantage, with whatever I am give, I just love my job and there are no complaints.''
Ask her how does she keep up with the pressures of having to always perform, among other things, and she says, ''There are many shows that work at the same time and people are coming up with great talent, I do often feel like am I lacking somewhere, and if there is a scene I know I haven't done well, I will go home and think about it. Otherwise, I won't say that it is competition per say, but I would like to be around the league of people who have been performing so well that every day, I want to buckle up. When you are doing a show, you don't get the time to think about all this, so all I think about is what did I do yesterday, what can I do better the next day, so the competition is me right now.''
Produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films, the show is based on Star Maa's Telugu series Gorintaku.
