Shilpa Shinde replaces Kamya Punjabi in Do Dil Ek Jaan!

With Kamya Punjabi all set to enter the Bigg Boss house, actress Shilpa Shinde will takeover her role in Do Dil Ek Jaan.

Shilpa Shinde as Koel Narayan in Chidiya Ghar
Of late, Life OK's show Do Dil Ek Jaan has been surrounded with rumors and suspicions.

The latest news is of actress Kamya Punjabi, who was supposed to essay the role of Daya Maayi (Ayaz Ahmed's mother) but left the show even before she started her shoot in order to grab the meaty Bigg Boss offer.

While Shilpa Shinde could not be contacted, our reliable source from the production house informed us, "Since Kamya Punjabi has left the show now, actress Shilpa Shinde has been roped in to play the character of Daya Maayi. The shooting for the same will start probably after a week."

The very gorgeous Shilpa Shinde left a mark in her last show as Koyal in Chidiya Ghar. However, having a fear of being typecast in a comic role, Shilpa stepped out of the show on purpose. The entire thought behind leaving Chidiya Ghar was to be remembered as an actress of a hit serial rather than losing its charm over an extended period of time.

As Shilpa is always on the edge to experiment with different kinds of roles, will her Daya Maayi avatar too help her connect with the audiences?
