Prime Video has unveiled the forthcoming release of the noir crime drama, "Shehar Lakhot," accompanied by an action-packed and edgy trailer. Produced by Offroad Films and executive produced by Navdeep Singh and Khalil Bachooali, the series is directed and co-written by Singh alongside Devika Bhagat. 

Featuring a stellar cast, including Priyanshu Painyuli, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Kubbra Sait in leading roles, the ensemble also includes Manu Rishi Chadha, Shruthy Menon, Kashyap Shangari, Chandan Roy, Manjiri Pupala, Shruti Jolly, Gyan Prakash, and Abhilash Thapliyal. "Shehar Lakhot" is the latest addition to the Prime membership.

The trailer immerses viewers into a world of treachery, hidden agendas, and deception, where life's game unfolds through murder, politics, blackmail, and love. The narrative unfolds as a prodigal son is compelled to return to his hometown, the fictional town of Lakhot, confronting his past and unwittingly becoming embroiled in a deadly game. The city itself transforms into a perilous battleground for vested interests, each harboring a concealed agenda.

Director Navdeep Singh, renowned for films like "Manorama Six Feet Under" and "NH10," described "Shehar Lakhot" as a multilayered and nuanced noir crime drama, promising a journey through human complexities, secrets, twists, and betrayal. The series, a labor of love, intricately explores the characters residing in the city of Lakhot, brought to life by the exceptional performances of the cast, who have embraced the eccentricities and infused their unique flair into the narrative.

Thrilled about the collaboration with Prime Video, Singh expressed eagerness for audiences worldwide to embark on this riveting journey when the series premieres exclusively on Prime Video in India and across more than 240 countries and territories on November 30.
