Shehnaaz Gill talks about trolls, says 'I don’t need to be answerable to anyone' on bond with Sidharth

Shehnaaz Gill has been in the news right after her Bigg Boss 13 stint, and ever since, there's always been something or the other that there is to talk about her, ranging from her work to her personal life. However, Sidharth Shukla's untimely demise, did get to her as she lost a dear friend.

Post his demise, Shehnaaz was away from work for a long time, however, she has now been getting back to full fledged work, and is seen working more often. However, there have been multiple instances where she has been subjected to trolls, even for simply enjoying herself at an engagement party. 

During her appearance on Shilpa Shetty’s chat show, Shape of You, Shilpa asked her about getting trolled for looking happy, Shehnaaz maintained how Sidharth always wanted her to be happy.

Shehnaaz Gill said, “If I get the chance to laugh, then I will laugh, I will stay happy. If I feel like celebrating Diwali then I will celebrate Diwali. Because happiness is very important in life. I also try to do that by myself. Today is the first time I am talking about this and it’s only because you are asking me to. Otherwise, I never talk about these things no matter who says what.”

Meanwhile, she also went on to remark how she does not have to tell anyone about her relationship with Sidharth and what her connection with him was. She said how she isn't answerable to anyone on how important he was to her and how important she was to him, because she knows, and she doesn't want to give any explanations.

Lastly, she added how Sidharth never told her to not be happy and he always wanted to see her laughing. She concluded by saying that she will continue to work because she wants to move far ahead in her life.
