Sheetal Thakur greeted with a customary 'homecoming' as she arrives home with husband Vikrant Massey

Sheetal Thakur was greeted with a customary "homecoming" as she arrived at her new apartment with Vikrant Massey just days after their wedding - the couple had moved into a new apartment.

Sheetal and Vikrant registered their marriage on 14th February, that is Valentine's Day, and had a wedding ceremony attended by their family members and close friends in Himachal Pradesh on February 18. They've now returned to their sea-facing Mumbai home, where the new bride performed a number of rites before entering the house, including pushing a pot full of raw rice with her feet. 

Sheetal posted a series of photos from her welcoming ceremony on her Instagram account on Thursday, captioning them "homecoming" and adding an emoji of a house. The first image depicted her pushing a Kalash (pot) packed to the brim with rice grains and money with a scarlet sacred thread wrapped around it with her toe. 

The Kalash was pushed down in the second photo, and a piece of white material was imprinted with her aalta-stained feet. She also posted a selfie she took while driving that showed a black bag behind her. In the photo, she was dressed in traditional choora, sindoor, and mangalsutra. 

Another photo uploaded by the actor showed a plate containing four bowls of halwa, which appeared to be her first 'rasoi' as a newlywed. The last photo was a selfie taken in the car by Vikrant, which showed the newlyweds posing together. 

On the work front, Vikrant Massey was seen in ‘Love Hostel’ opposite Sanya Malhotra which is streaming from just today.
