Shashi Sumeet Productions to come with fiction drama on the journey of Akbar!!

Big Magic is experimenting with it's programming method which usually focuses on light comedy shows. The channel is coming up with a periodic fiction drama on the journey of Akbar.

It is said that one of the giants in Hindi television productions' Shashi Sumeet Productions will be commissioned for the new show, who is also working on the second season of its popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum.

The tentative title of the show is 'Shahenshah'. The show will narrate the story of Akbar's childhood days from the age of 12.  The show will be a big-budget affair and will have all the visual grandeur of a periodic fiction.

As per reports, Shahehshah will replace the comedy series Akbar Birbal on Big Magic. The casting process for the new show is presently on, and the team aims to take the show on floors in February.

As we know, Akbar Birbal, the ongoing show on the channel recently had a shift in the producer with Triangle Films making way for Kothare Vision (prominent production house in the Marathi regional space).

The ongoing series is about to end soon and the fiction drama shall take over!!
