Sharad Kelkar gains by losing weight..

The well-built and dashing Sharad Kelkar and his beau, Keerti Kelkar were recently spotted at Zee’s Special Valentines Event. But one striking difference that we could notice in Sharad was his very visible weight loss.

Telly Buzz reporter Ranjini got to talk to Sharad, to know more on his new found fitness regime. “I am following a strict diet. Actually I had met with an accident in December and was advised by the doctor to take complete rest because of which I put on weight. Then, in order to tone down myself after the injury, my wife took me to a consultant Dr. Sunita Tawre who made me follow a strict diet. Following the regime, I succeeded in losing nearly 9Kg within a month”, says Sharad.

Sharad Kelkar who essays the role of Nahar in Zee’s Saath Phere seemed a happy man as the chances of the on screen couple Nahar and Saloni uniting again look very bright now. “Nahar has just met Saloni in the serial. She doesn’t remember anything and the further track will revolve around Nahar helping in bringing back her memory. Their relationship will definitely get better as the storyline progresses”, says the actor.

When we quizzed him on his future plans, the actor replies, “Nothing much actually, right now my focus is only on Saath Phere and I have no other projects lined up.”
