It seems the chain of COVID-19 has made its impact on a section of Bollywood as of now, as we continue to get reports of multiple people testing positive for the virus after an intimate gathering.
We recently reported how actors Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora were amongst the first ones to be testing positive, followed by which Seema Khan and Maheep Kapoor have also contracted the virus. Now, a latest report suggests that Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Maheep Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor have also tested positive.
Shanaya took to her Instagram story and released an official statement. In her post, she mentioned that she tested negative four days ago but when she took the test again as a precautionary measure, she has tested positive.
Her post read, "I have tested positive for Covid-19. As of today, I have mild symptoms, but I'm feeling ok and have isolated myself. I had tested negative four days ago however, while testing again as precaution the results came positive. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals. If you have been in contact with me, request you to please get tested. Stay safe everyone!"-
Earlier today Karan Johar released a statement on the same where he confirmed having tested negative where Malaika Arora and Alia Bhatt have also tested negative. But now, it seems this little chain is getting more people being diagnosed with the virus.
On the work front, Shanaya Kapoor is the latest Kapoor kid on block to be joining the acting bandwagon where it has been confirmed that she will be soon making her acting debut with Karan Johar's upcoming film.
