Shalini Kapoor Sagar plays a single mom on Qubool Hai

In Qubool Hai actress Shalini Kapoor Sagar is playing a single mom who has raised her son Asad (essayed by Karan Singh Grover) completely on her own. Talking about her character Dilshad, Shalini says, "It is a very strong and dignified character. Her husband had deserted her for more money and a better lifestyle. Dilshad has worked hard to give her son the best education. Her son is in fact a bigger tycoon than his father."

Aayan (essayed by Rishabh Sinha) is Dilshad's step son whereas Asad is her biological son. Shalini adds, "The other woman in Dilshad's husband's life is the mom of Aayan." Qubool Hai will premiere on Zee TV on October 29th.
