Shaleen Malhotra in Ekta Kapoor's next?

Shaleen 'Arjun' Malhotra, will soon be seen making a comeback a.l.a SRK style to the television screens if all goes well. According to a report in a leading daily, the actor has been roped in for soap queen Ekta Kapoor's next venture on Star Plus.

Shaleen Malhotra made his big screen debut with the action thriller Arjun which garnered an immensely positive response and shot Shaleen into limelight that has not yet faded. The actor then turned host for Code Red Talaash and has been missing from the screens since then. But if things materialize as planned, the actor will soon be seen on the tube.

The actor has apparently been roped in for Balaji's next venture which is loosely based on SRK-starrer Pardes. And Shaleen's character will play the quintessential romantic on the show, a far cry from his action hero image, courtesy of his role Arjun Rawte.

When we got in touch with Shaleen regarding the same, he told us, "Nothing has been finalized as of now. I have given the look test and so have many others. There is no concrete development regarding the above at the moment."

Well, fans of the actor keep praying for this show to happen for we will get to see Shaleen in a never-seen-before romantic avatar.
