Shaleen and Daljit sizzle at Star Parivaar nite..

Shaleen Bhanot and Daljit Kaur are on Cloud Nine after winning the Award for Best Contestant at reality shows in the Star Parivaar Awards which was held on Sunday.

Says Shaleen, "It was a great feeling to win the award. It was so nice that viewers voted for us, and they liked us so much in Nach Baliye".

The other nominees for the Best Contestant award were Mona Singh, Abhijeet Sawant and Rahul Vaidya. "It felt great to have got the award when there were other experienced people nominated", quips the actor.

The duo not only got resounding applause for the award, but also attempted a solo hard-core Taandav act for the Awards. "It was a skit where we both had to perform solo. I got to be the 'Item Boy' there (smiles). You have seen girls in revealing attire, but this time I was the one who exposed a lot", states Shaleen.

For Daljit, this is something  like getting the Best Student Award at school. "We were no doubt declared winners in Nach Baliye, but getting the Best Contestant Award was like being the best in the show in all aspects. We thank our fans for making us the winners, and all credit to the award goes to our fans".
