Shakuntalam's next to launch on Star Plus!

It seems that production houses are in full gear to pitch their shows to Star Plus, as the channel continues to welcome new concepts with an open mind. After Hats Off's Sasuma and Trilogy's Khamoshiyaan, Tellybuzz brings to you the latest on Shakuntalam's new venture. After launching the tentatively-titled Gunjan-Roli on Zee TV, the production house is all set with their next show on Star Plus.

A source informs, "The production house is planning on a show, which won't be the normal saas bahu drama, but a show that focuses on the justice and injustice that prevails in society. Set in North India, the crew is currently on a recce to finalize their shooting locations. This untitled show will shoot its pilot soon."

We contacted Shyamshish Bhattacharya, Producer of Shakuntalam Telefilms but he refused to comment on the same.
