Shakuntalam Telefilms' Mere Gunaon Ka Devta on Imagine..

Shakuntalam Telefilms is coming up with a show on Imagine, tentatively titled Mere Gunaon Ka Devta. The story will have a backdrop of Uttar Pradesh, and will be a love story that gets nurtured amidst the fear of gun shots. Renowned writer Shanti Bhushan who is presently the writer of Star Plus' Pratigya has joined hands with writer Kamal Pandey of Laado fame to write this show.

A little birdie said, "The casting for the show is on. This will be the next big fiction launch on Imagine. This tale is loosely based on the movie City of Gold. The story will revolve around the life of a criminal".

We tried calling Producer Shyamashis Bhattacharya, but he remained unavailable.

Writer Shanti Bhushan refused to comment.

The show is expected to launch in a prime time slot on Imagine sometime in September..
